Model:  Mantis Mallet

Material/Mfg:  Investment Cast 431 Stainless Steel with a Polymer Face

Introduction:  2013

Mantis Golf's founder Michael Dill approached me with the task to design a mallet putter with a focal point that diverts the golfer's eye away from the head and to the ball.  Very little was provided in the way of a putter design scope except that the geometry was to have an organic feel to it.  Thus the Mantis Mallet was born.  It's satin green finish is the take to deflecting the golfer's attention away from the putter head.  Its white alignment lines extend to the focal point of the golf ball in its set up position.

Model:  Mantis B1 Blade

Material/Mfg:  Investment Cast 431Stainless Steel with a Polymer Face

Introduction:  2014

The introduction of the Mantis blade followed a year behind the mallet.  As with the mallet's design scope the heel and toe weighted blade was to lean more to the organic than the engineered look.  This was accomplished by utilizing wavy contours in its perimeter mass versus the traditional heel and toe weighting blocks.
